Digestion Aid & Detox
What is it?
Bloating, cramping, nausea, a sluggish gut or one that will not settle. Food, travel, stress, a bug, or simply a season of too much can all throw digestion out. The gut responds well to two simple things: warmth with a clockwise massage over the abdomen, and a short, clean reset. Dr Bo's own spring routine is a ten-day clay water cleanse, fresh in-season food, three litres of water a day, and the oils below.
Blend intention
Settle, warm and cleanse. Peppermint to ease tummy cramping and the feeling of nausea, and it is very fresh. Ginger to warm and move a sluggish system. Fennel Sweet, the classic for wind and bloating. Lemon for its clean, cleansing lift. Chamomile Roman is deliberately left out of this blend, it would be overpowered by the stronger scents, so keep it on its own for a nervous stomach and for the gentlest touch on children. Massaged over the abdomen, or a single drop of Peppermint in honey when the tummy turns.
