Scar healing
What is it?
A scar is the skin's repair after injury, surgery or a burn. The tissue that fills the gap is laid down fast and untidily, which is why a scar can sit raised, red or tight for a long time. What most people are not told is that the remodelling of that tissue continues for months and often years, so the window to influence how a scar settles is far longer than the first few weeks.
Blend intention
Two jobs from one bottle. The first is nutrition: six virgin, cold pressed carrier oils, avocado, jojoba, evening primrose, rose hip, argan and wheatgerm, giving the skin a complete lipid profile that feeds the deeper layers rather than sitting on the surface. The second is delivery and stimulation: eight essential oils, immortelle, German chamomile, myrrh, patchouli, geranium, sweet lavender, spike lavender and eucalyptus blue gum, chosen to carry that nutrition into the tissue, calm it, and support circulation and lymphatic clearing.
Thirteen of the fourteen ingredients are certified organic, the other is wild grown. Formulated by Dr Bo Hendgen for a patient in her own clinic.
