A pure extraction to support skin hydration, joint mobility and lymphatic flow. It has become a popular base for muscular and joint creams due to its rich emollient properties and general tonic effect. Certified organic and Hexane and GE free.

Product uses

Sprains and repetitive strain
Massage 1 tsp directly to the affected area and around the joints to assist healthy circulation. Add 1 tsp of Arnica Cream and a few drops of Lavender True for added healing and soothing benefit.

Arthritis and rheumatic pain
Combine 1 tsp with 5 drops of Juniper Berry and 2 drops of German Chamomile at night. Repeat as required.

Liver detox
Soak a clean, organic, colour-free cotton cloth in warm Castor oil and place it on the right side of the abdomen. Put plastic over the cloth, a towel and then a hot water bottle and rest for up to 2 hours. Rinse with water and baking soda. Repeat 3 times a week for up to 3 months. Maintain a clean and healthy diet during this time.

Digestive discomfort
Gently warm 1 Tbsp and massage onto the stomach in a clockwise direction. Add 2 drops of Peppermint essential oil, 1 drop of Oregano essential oil and 1 drop of Coriander Seed essential oil to enhance effects to digestion.

Skin Cleansing
For a deep cleanse of your face use 1 Tbsp of organic Castor oil and massage rigorously into the face and neck for 2-3 minutes. Repeat for 10 days.

Blending notes
Blends well with Arnica infused oil, Lavender True, Lavender Spike and Juniper Berry.

Safety considerations
NOT for use during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or during menstrual flow.

Allergies: This oil is not a nut oil, however the place of manufacture handles nut oils.

Plumps my mature skin

I was not sure about this , never having used castor oil before. But mixed it with an equal amount of rose hip oil and use it as my night time skin treatment. It feels rather thick and heavy but Ive been surprised at how it plumps my skin and has not caused any breakouts or anything. It might not suit all skin types, but my mature skin is loving it !

A great oil

Until I made research about this oil, I was only aware that it was a wonderful laxative, so I wasn't interested in buying this oil. However, a friend told me she was using it for oil pulling. She said she was just keeping it in the mouth for five minutes and not for 15 to 20 minutes like coconut oil. So, I gave a go. I also read about the anti-inflammatory properties. I tried on a small wound on my finger that was sore and I applied one drop. Within five minutes I felt the difference and after 30 minutes all pain was gone. Encouraged by the result I tried on my elbow tendinitis. It was very efficient to treat the inflammation and pain. I would definitely recommend it even if this oil is naturally sticky in comparison to almond oil.

The Very Best

I wouldn't order castor oil from anywhere else - I know and trust Absolute Essential for top quality products. This castor oil is beautiful to use, and much more pleasant than others I have tried.
