Top 10 oils for skincare - the best carrier and essential oils for more youthful looking skin

Top 10 essential and carrier oils for your skincare rituals

Looking younger. It’s been a human pre-occupation for thousands of years.

  • 5000 years ago, Ancient Egyptians used sesame, castor and moringa oils to smooth out wrinkles, and clay for face-cleansing masks.
  • 4000 years ago, in China, beauty rituals included the use of jellyfish, seaweed, crushed pearls mixed with egg whites, and Goji berries.
  • 700 years ago, during the European Renaissance, people used mixtures of lead, arsenic, and mercury on the skin. Inconceivable now!
  • In the 1800s, hygiene and beauty products become more widely available. With the advent of medicated lip balm in 1937 and sunblock in 1944, the beauty industry shows no signs of slowing down.

Everyone’s skin is different, and there are thousands of products to choose from. So, here we cut through all that noise and share our top 10 pure and natural essential and carrier oils to support your beautiful skin.
