We are a little bit weight-obsessed in the western world. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, as long as
the aim is to look healthy, feel healthy and actually be healthy (as opposed to squeezing into tiny jeans!). Cell Slim & Tone Lotion, our newest product innovation, is specifically designed to support this aim.

Of course no lotion on its own is going to magically help you achieve your weight loss goals – there are other factors that need to come into play such as eating well, sleeping well, hydrating and excercising regularly. So, just while we are on the topic, here are a few quick tips you may find helpful.

Best time of the day to exercise?

Actually it’s any time. Find out what fits best into your schedule and make it a regular part of your routine. Myself, I prefer mornings – and there’s research to suggest that exercising first thing (before breakfast) taps into fat stores, gets you moving about more during the day and gives you a tendency to consume less calories. Excercising is great for sleep too, and studies have shown that people who are not getting enough sleep will eat more during the day to compensate.

Fad diets don't work...
but a good diet does. Healthful eating means consuming nutrient-dense foods in the right quantities from all the food groups (whole grains, fruit & vegetables, protein, dairy, fats and sugars). Monitor your portion sizes. Eat fresh and avoid processed food. Try not to add extra sugar and limit your salt intake. And choose unsaturated fats (found in oily fish and nuts) over saturated (animal) fats. Of course it’s ok to detox from time to time (go hard on the juicing) – your internal systems will thank you for it! But an intense clear out needs to be handled sensibly, and is not sustainable for too long.


Water is good for weight loss.
And staying hydrated is essential to maintaining a healthy body. The recommended intake is 15 cups a day for the average adult male and 11 cups a day for adult females. Water is 100% calorie-free, it helps curb hunger, it keeps your mind sharp, boosts metabolism, and allows you to exercise harder and longer – while helping you stay regular. H2O-yes!

Have you tried dry brushing?

If not, you really should – as it stimulates circulation, invigorates the skin and eliminates the build up of toxins (including cellulite). Here’s what to do: using a loofah or natural bristle brush, start at your feet and brush upward towards the heart. Use firm, small strokes upwards, or work in a circular motion. Repeat all over for 3-5 minutes, then shower, then apply the Cell Slim & Tone Lotion. Incorporated into your routine (2x daily application for Cell Slim & Tone, and at least 3x weekly for the dry brushing), it won’t be long before you see improvements.
