What is it?
Low mood is an emotional state characterised by sadness, anxiety, low self-esteem, hopelessness, frustration, and tiredness. It can be caused by major life changes or upsetting events but sometimes there is no obvious reason. At times like these, we may need extra support to help ourselves along.
